Choose the Savings (Share) Account that best works for you.

Share Savings

With a $5.00 deposit into a regular Share (savings) Account, you establish your credit union membership.  Not only are you a member of Red Crown Credit Union, but you are also an owner because your Share Account represents an ownership share in Red Crown.  Once you have opened a Share (savings) Account you have access to all of the products and services Red Crown has to offer.

Share Certificates

Share Certificates (CDs) differ from a regular Share Account in that there are minimum deposit requirements, various terms and dividend payment options available.  Share Certificates provide the opportunity to earn a higher interest rate because funds are committed for a given term.  Rates are tiered with higher balances earning a higher rate of return.

IRA Accounts

Club Account

A Club Account is a Share Account designed to help you save throughout the year for holidays, vacations or whatever your need.  Dividends earned are slightly higher than the basic Share Account and have withdrawal and deposit limitations.

Money Market Account

A Money Market Account provides an investment opportunity for a higher rate of return while funds remain liquid, insured and secure.

  • $2,000 minimum balance to open.
  • Earns a higher APY* than a Savings or Checking.
  • Tiered APY* for higher balances.
  • Limited to 6 withdrawals per month.

*Annual Percentage Yield (APY) is based on the assumption that dividends will remain in the account until maturity.  There is a substantial penalty for early withdrawal, including forfeiture of dividends.  Rates are variable and may change after the account is opened.  Fees could reduce earnings.
