Red Crown Credit Union Annual Meeting 2018

The Red Crown Credit Union Annual Meeting and Election will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 4:00pm in the Red Crown Credit Union Board Room located at 5001 E. 91st St., Tulsa, OK.

In accordance with the Credit Union’s Bylaws, the Nominating Committee Secretary hereby submits the following Annual Election Notice: There are three, 3-year terms expiring to be fulfilled on the Board of Directors. The following three Volunteers have been nominated for election by the Nominating Committee:

  1. JD Walker
  2. Lisa Strickland
  3. Jo Nelle Parks

An election will not be conducted by ballot and there be no nominations from the floor where there is only one nominee for each position to be filled. If there is at least one nomination by petition, an election will be held in the branches by ballot two weeks prior to the Annual Meeting. If there are no nominations by petition, the candidates nominated by the committee will be elected by acclamation at the Annual Meeting.

Red Crown Credit Union members who are not nominated by the committee, but would like to run for election, may pursue nomination by petition. Any member who wants to submit a nomination by petition must obtain a Petition Packet from the Red Crown Credit Union Southtown location. When returned, the petition must be signed by one percent of the membership with a maximum of 500. As of November 30, 2017 Red Crown Credit Union had 23,142 members and therefore the Nomination Petition must be signed by at least 231 Red Crown Credit Union primary account holders.

Each Nominee by petition shall submit a Statement of Qualifications, Biographical Data and a signed Certificate stating that they are agreeable to nomination and will serve, if elected to office. All petitions must be returned to the Red Crown Credit Union Southtown location by March 15, 2018.
